The EX.I.T.E. program (EXploring Interests in Technology and Engineering) is sponsored through IBM and allows 30 girls, Junior High aged, to participate in a week long camp held over the summer at IBM. The girls are introduced to the exciting fields of math, science, technology, and engineering through activities, projects, and tours. Then, throughout the school year, the girls are partnered up with a female IBM employee, a mentor who they communicate with through posting messages and doing activities on a secure website called MentorPlace. For more information, please visit the MentorPlace website.
